For some silly reason we’re at the airport way earlier than necessary. Luckily McCarran has free WiFi so it’s not a total loss. For the trip, we ended up coming out about even once we found a $5 BlackJack table at Casino Royale to make up for the money we lost at ten dollar tables elsewhere. I’m ready for a nap.
We saw Penn & Teller last night. At the end of the show they shot one another, but I have proof that they weren’t destroyed:

Delayed flight = bored in the airport.
We lost our chance to defend our championship title by bowling one of our worst nights of the season. Woohoo. Bring on the tournament play.
I will do something new with this site. I promise. In the meantime, I’m working way too much, enjoying five games and virtual console goodness on Wii, and trying not to suck at bowling (the real kind, not the Wii Sports variety). Softball is coming.
Just a few more days…I was doing fine until I read this hands-on impression of Twilight Princess.
Our apartment that is. We’ve finally got everything into the new apartment. We thought we were done yesterday, but then we realized we left our bikes over there. Well we brought them over an hour or two ago, so we’re officially done. We check out tomorrow at 5:30. Now if we can just finish putting everything in its place…
I did something kinda silly the other day. We’re in the middle of moving over to our new apartment, so I started calling around and changing our address. I went online for our credit card and changed the address there. The next day, I bought a brand new computer and charged it to the credit card.
If you think that sent up a red flag with Citi Bank, you would be right. They apparently put a hold on our account, and called me to confirm the charges. Luckily the turn around was so fast, I never even noticed the hold. They confirmed my new address and the purchase of the computer came from me, and everything was back to normal. It’s nice to know they have these kinds of safeguards in place.
Hmm…I installed Firefox on the new iMac. So far so good, but I just realized that [Home] and [End] don’t seem to do anything in text boxes. That’s gonna be annoying…
I am surrounded by stupid people. Almost every single question I’ve been asked in the last 24 hours has been ridiculous. I feel like someone went around to the people I deal with on a daily basis and beat them over the head with a stupid stick.
I never thought this day would come. I’m going to buy a Mac. Not just any old Mac, but an iMac. The same Mac I made fun of for looking like a giant deformed Jolly Rancher when it was introduced back when I was in high school. Only now it looks like this…
…and it comes with a very sexy 24″ screen.
I blame my iPod. Thank God for Epic’s computer loan program.
